RHL - Dance & Seated Dance
If you thought your dancing days were over, think again…
Regular dancing is great for improving posture and muscle strength, increasing balance and coordination and beating stress. In these classes you will gain the health benefits of dance, whilst having a great time and meeting new people!
“We just can’t stop grinning”
What are the classes like?
The classes will focus on working creatively through different exercises and routines across a variety of music and movement styles…from musical theatre to salsa and pop! Seated dance is particularly suitable for those who may find it difficult to stand to exercise
“I really enjoy the class and would sum it up as follows. Brilliant teacher, brilliant choreography, brilliant music and most of all great exercise”
What should I bring to class and what should I wear?
You do not need to bring anything with you apart from a drink of water. You don’t have to wear special clothes or shoes, although high heels would not be suitable. Ladies can wear skirts or trousers. We provide any equipment that is used in the class.
If you use a wheelchair you are very welcome to join this class (seated dance would be the perfect choice), and the venue is wheel-chair accessible. Carers are welcome - but please join in!
“It’s not just about exercise it’s the social side that’s so important too, the friends you make”
