DESMOND Programme: Diabetes Education and Self-Management

Our program is designed to empower individuals with Type II diabetes to manage their condition more effectively.  We offer tailored, in-person classes specifically for newly diagnosed Nepalese patients, addressing the unique language and cultural barriers that can hinder diabetes self-management.

We are extremely proud to have assisted over 900 diabetic patients who have already successfully completed our program

Two-day courses are conducted at convenient locations across Farnborough and Aldershot. Patients are referred to RHL by their GP through the Frimley Park Hospital Diabetes Education Team. Once referred, patients are contacted by RHL to attend the course.
