What is Tai Chi?

Tai chi is an ancient Chinese martial art, which uses gentle graceful movements to stimulate ‘Chi’ or energy flow through the meridian system. This helps to develop a more efficient body function for health and longevity, as well as calming the mind, improving balance and flexibility and strengthening the immune system.

What will happen in a Tai Chi class?

Your Tai Chi class will begin with a warm-up to ground your body and ready your mind. Exercises will then be taught to help relax and loosen the body. You’ll then be ready to move into exercises to develop fitness, awareness and concentration. Exercises can be performed standing and seated.

Our Tai Chi class currently takes place online via Zoom. Click here to see more information regarding our online sessions.
