Nordic Walking – short walks suitable for those with health conditions!
RHL are excited to introduce regular Nordic walking sessions until the end of September 2024.
Nordic walking involves using specially designed walking poles and uses a technique like cross-country skiing. The poles are behind which you push off with each step, engaging your upper body muscles, including your shoulders, arms, and core, making it low impact on the legs, reducing stress on the joints, helping aid with balance and improving stamina. Nordic walking is a full-body, low impact, an outdoor fun workout.
